We at MuranoGlassItaly are Murano glass art enthusiasts united with the mission to bring back art in the life of people. We the descendants of great Murano glass Masters and created the MuranoGlassItaly online platform to introduce people into the world of contemporary artisan Murano glassmaking in Italy.
We create a fine selection of handmade glass masterpieces (later on referred as “articles”). All our displayed Venetian artworks are either made-to-order or one-of-a-kind artisan works.
The image accompanying the description of an article may not be fully representative of its characteristics. All articles are artisanal and of the highest production quality. Variations in shape, size, color and / or small imperfections or minute air bubbles in the glass are unavoidable and are typical of the manual processing of glass and distinguish the craftsmanship.
As such, you as the Customer (later on referred as “Customer”), can enjoy all the beauty our Murano glass Masters can offer 24/7 on our website MuranoGlassItaly and select articles that would best complement your home or office.
We understand that the perception of art and beauty is something very personal. Therefore, we give our Customers the possibility to customize any of our displayed artworks or design an own Murano glass masterpiece.
Please, read carefully the below Terms and Conditions, by using our website and clicking on the ‘I agree’ bottom during checking out your shopping cart you consent irrevocably and unconditionally to our Terms and Conditions. Therefore, it is important that you are aware and understand how MuranoGlassItaly conducts business.
Please note that the Terms and Conditions represent the intellectual property of MuranoGlassItaly. It is strictly forbidden to use, amend, share or copy any part of the Terms and Conditions in any ways without prior written permission of MuranoGlassItaly.
o Company registration. MuranoGlassItaly is incorporated under the Italian law with Chamber of Commerce Number of 01840430936. The legal office is registered at Via F. Turati 8/A, 33170 Pordenone, Italy while the operative office is Via Bottenigo 147, 30100 Venice, Italy.
Customers can always turn to the Customer Service of MuranoGlassItaly with questions by sending an email to [email protected].
Please note that MuranoGlassItaly is not selling to children. In case the Customer is below 18, the Customer needs to have parental supervision when making purchase on www.muranoglassitaly.com.
The language of www.muranoglassitaly.com webshop is English. Therefore, the Customer shall understand and capable of making purchasing decisions in English. Furthermore, the Customer agrees unconditionally to communicate in English with MuranoGlassItaly.
The Customer guarantees not to give false e-mail address, impersonate other private and/or natural persons or use PayPal account, credit card, debit card or any other payment method that does not legally belong to the Customer. The Customer guarantees to have full right to use the given payment mean let it be credit card, debit card, PayPal account etc. Furthermore, the Customer guarantees that the Customer has sufficient fund on his payment mean such as credit card, debit card, PayPal account to cover the costs of purchase on www.muranoglassitaly.com.
o Article’s price formulation in case the Customer gives a delivery address within the European Union. All article prices listed on the MuranoGlassItaly webshop are net prices inclusive value added tax and shipping costs to addresses within the European Union. There are no hidden costs, the Customer pays the price listed next to the article. Please note, that all prices are listed in Euro, and thus there could be additional currency exchange costs on top of the listed net price charged by the Customer’s bank only if the Customer’s local currency is different from Euro.
o Article’s price formulation in case the Customer gives a delivery address outside of the European Union. All article prices listed on the MuranoGlassItaly webshop are exclusive local custom fees. The shipping costs will be added to the order during check-out process on the MuranoGlassItaly website. The local customs fees need to be paid by the Customer to the shipping company upon receipt of the parcel. Please note, that all prices on MuranoGlassItaly.com are listed in Euro, and thus there could be additional currency exchange costs on top of the listed price charged by the Customer’s bank.
Customer agrees not to post vulgar, obscene, sexually explicit or offensive comments and feedbacks on the www.muranoglassitaly.com webshop. MuranoGlassItaly keeps the right to edit and delete non-compliant comments and feedbacks.
In other words, the article shall remain the property of MuranoGlassItaly until MuranoGlassItaly dispatches the article to the Customer. In the event that the article is returned by the Customer, the article shall pass directly to the property of MuranoGlassItaly upon receipt of the undamaged article. MuranoGlassItaly holds no property right Customer’s return shipment at any point in time and is not personally liable for receiving damaged Customer return shipment. In case the Customer return shipment results in the receipt of a damaged article, it is the responsibility of the Customer to claim damages with the courier.
MuranoGlassItaly may cancel an order if the artwork is not available for any reason and/or there are any problems with production. If this is the case, MuranoGlassItaly will notify the Customer and return any payment that the customer has made.
In case the Customer believes that any of the products listed on www.muranoglassitaly.com hurts his intellectually property rights, please let MuranoGlassItaly know by sending an email to [email protected]. MuranoGlassItaly will investigate the claim and as a result can decide to delist articles with immediate effect. This gesture, however, is not a sign of guilt, but proactive measure to preserve the integrity of the MuranoGlassItaly webshop.
The customer shall signal to MuranoGlassItaly, by sending an email to [email protected], within 24 hours upon delivery of the order in case the artwork arrived damaged. Any claims after this initial 24 hour passed by will be deemed void and fraudulent. MuranoGlassItaly has the unconditional right to deny any form of reimbursement to claims handed in after the initial 24 hour upon delivery passed.
The Customer unconditionally consent that it is the nature of the postal services that parcels get lost or damaged during transportation and in case the Customer’s purchased article gets damaged or lost during transportation, then the Customer does not claim damages beyond the paid net price of the purchased article.
It is strictly forbidden for Customers to make false or misleading statements about the condition or non-arrival of the ordered article. MuranoGlassItaly acts in good faith when investigating customer complaints, but in case MuranoGlassItaly has reasonable doubt to believe that the Customer committed fraud, MuranoGlassItaly has the unconditional right to deny any compensation of damage or non-arrival of the article and put the Customer on a Blacklist. Customers listed on the Blacklist are no longer able to order articles on the webshop of MuranoGlassItaly.
In case the Customer fails to accept shipment for any reason, the loss or damage of the parcel is credited to the Customer. As such, Customer is not entitled to any reimbursement.
In case the Customer fails to accept shipment for any reason and the artwork is returned undamaged to MuranoGlassItaly, then the Customer is not entitled to an automatic new shipment. Customer must pay for the new shipping fee. In case the Customer requests reimbursement, then the actual shipping costs of the first shipment will be deducted from the final purchase price to determine the reimbursement due to the Customer.
Custom-made articles that are returned to MuranoGlassItaly as undeliverable package can only be re-shipped to the Customer. No reimbursement is provided for custom-made orders. Please note that in case of re-shipping the Customer shall pay the new shipment fees.
Please note, that the 14 days return period is not valid on custom-made orders. Articles that were created based on the designs and specification of the Customer cannot be returned, including chandeliers spare parts.
Please note, that no returns or exchanges allowed on personal goods such as pierced earrings.
Please note that Customers may not use goods that they have received before deciding to withdraw from the purchase. The right to withdraw exists to allow Customers to examine the product in the same way as they would in a shop, not to give Customers 14 days free use.
As such, in order to save time and frustration, Customers need to make sure to carefully wrap back the article in the original wrapping material and place it securely in the original carton box. Also it is important that the Customer shall send the article with a Tracking-Code and insure the parcel. Customers shall share the Tracking-Code with MuranoGlassItaly by sending an email to [email protected].
In case the article gets lost or damage during shipment, Customer will NOT be eligible for a refund. MuranoGlassItaly only pay refund if the article is received by MuranoGlassItaly undamaged.
If the article gets lost or damaged during shipment Customers need to contact their shipping company and claim the insurance money to cover for the cost of article.
It is obligatory that the Customer returns the article to the right return address. In case of doubts about the right return address, the Customer shall contact MuranoGlassItaly by sending an email to [email protected].
In case Customer is in breach of the Return Policy conditions resulting in monetary damages to MuranoGlassItaly or Partner, MuranoGlassItaly has the unconditional right to deny reimbursement.
5. Legal disclaimer. MuranoGlassItaly keeps the right to make changes and additions to the MuranoGlassItaly Terms and Conditions. The MuranoGlassItaly Terms and Conditions are exclusively governed by Italian law. All disputes arising out of or related to the MuranoGlassItaly Terms and Conditions shall be submitted to the competent court in Venice, Italy. In case of disputes the English language MuranoGlassItaly Terms and Conditions prevail.

Wholesale Customer (later on referred as “Wholesale Customer”) is a person who purchases goods and services as a legal entity, business or corporation enters a business to business (B2B) – wholesale agreement with MuranoGlassItaly. Wholesale Customers enjoy benefits like wholesale pricing. Consumer law does not apply to B2B – Wholesale agreements.
According to the sales agreement of MuranoGlassItaly, all payment conditions are clearly stated in the order confirmations and invoices of MuranoGlassItaly. Please note, that 100% upfront payment is required to make an order firm. MuranoGlassItaly will not proceed with the creation of any artwork unless MuranoGlassItaly receives 100% upfront payment.
MuranoGlassItaly prices do not include any customs duty or local tax.
The standard packaging of MuranoGlassItaly is either double sided carton boxes or wooden crates or pallets and its cost is already included in the selling price. MuranoGlassItaly certifies that all packaging is built according to the law, with treated wooden panels which avoid problems related to ISPM in international shipping. Different packages can be provided if expressly requested in advance, at an additional cost.
MuranoGlassItaly does its best to honour the agreed terms of delivery. However, they are approximate and MuranoGlassItaly is not responsible for eventual delays. In the event Wholesale Customer is not able to receive the goods according to the agreed terms of delivery, MuranoGlassItaly will keep the ready goods in its warehouse for free for one month.
After one month had passed since the written notice of readiness goods, MuranoGlassItaly will charge the warehousing cost (which includes stocking, handling, etc…). The cost of deposit is € 30,00 per square metre per month plus 1% insurance (this value will be calculated each single time).
Wholesale Customer enjoys benefits like wholesale prices. Wholesale Customer is expected to be able to do thorough research on its needs before making a purchase decision. Consumer law does not apply to wholesale agreements. Therefore, Wholesale Customer does not have right of withdrawal. Wholesale agreements cannot be terminated. Order cancelations are only possible within 24 hours of the order, in written form.
In the event Wholesale Customer cancels a confirmed order, within 24 hours of the order, in written form, Wholesale Customer lose 15% of the upfront payment and Wholesale Customer undertakes to pay for all costs MuranoGlassItaly has already sustained up to that time. In addition, MuranoGlassItaly reserves the right to be refunded for damages.
Wholesale Customer enjoys benefits like wholesale prices. Wholesale Customer is expected to be able to do thorough research on its needs before making a purchase decision. Consumer law does not apply to wholesale agreements. Therefore, Wholesale Customer does not have a right to return received artworks and/or ask for refunds. Shipped artworks cannot be returned and/or refunded.
Additionally, Wholesale Customer is aware that all artworks are artisanal and of the highest production quality. Variations in shape, size, colour and / or small imperfections or minute air bubbles in the glass are unavoidable and are typical of the manual processing of glass and distinguish the craftsmanship. As such, are not considered as defects and can not be contested.
According to the international ex-works transport regulations, goods are shipped at the customer’s risk. Under no circumstance can MuranoGlassItaly be held responsible for breakages, damages or thefts that may occur during transport. In such cases, Wholesale Customer shall make its claim to the shipping agent. In case of MuranoGlassItaly is in charge for the transport, please see “Replacement instructions”.
For any shipped goods sent by MuranoGlassItaly, Wholesale Customer is advised to follow the instructions below strictly. MuranoGlassItaly will not be able to action the free replacement process otherwise.
INSTRUCTIONS:
Whenever the goods are damaged and even one of the above bullet points couldn’t be respected, MuranoGlassItaly reserves the right to replace the damaged goods by asking a normal payment only.
For all disputes, the sole court of competent jurisdiction shall be the Court of Venice, Italy.
NOTICE
MuranoGlassItaly pays the greatest attention to the preparation of Wholesale Customer orders and MuranoGlassItaly always take pictures of the goods, as an entirety and of every relevant detail, before shipping. MuranoGlassItaly recommend to carefully check all photos sent by email and point out any irregularity of the artwork itself. MuranoGlassItaly considers any unreplied email as Wholesale Customer approval of conformity with what agreed on the proforma invoice. Therefore, MuranoGlassItaly decline to 50% the responsibility for any mistakes and/or manufacturing irregularity that Wholesale Customer might discover at delivery time. Should Wholesale Customer find any errors and/or shortages, kindly inform MuranoGlassItaly at once in writing within two days after receiving the goods. Wholesale Customer shall not return any goods without the written approval and reshipping instructions of MuranoGlassItaly.
Whenever MuranoGlassItaly organises the shipment until destination, it will be fully insured in order to guarantee quality, integrity and value of goods that Wholesale Customer has purchased. If the shipment goes to a deposit, insurance will cover the transport from MuranoGlassItaly Headquarters to the deposit only. Insurance will not cover any goods damages caused after delivery to the deposit.
SIZE AND/OR FINISHINGS ARE CUSTOM TO SPECIFICATION FOR ANY PRODUCTS
