On April 5th 2019, the Regione Autonoma Friuli Venezia Giulia approved the projects ranking and identified MURANOGLASSITALY eligible for starting its project, founded by POR FESR 2014-2020, the European Found for Regional Development.
The project will have a duration of 12 months and will focus on the development of artificial intelligence and machine learning applied to ecommerce. With this project, MURANOGLASSITALY will develop a platform aiming at highlighting the Venetian excellence and unique artistic value of Murano glass. This project will allow customers to certain that the purchased artworks are of high quality, come from the Italian, venetian territory. In addition, the project results will allow MURANOGLASSITALY website to differentiate itself from other online sites, some of which very often sell imitations and creations of dubious origin that damage the market.
Finally, the innovation that MURANOGLASSITALY will bring will contribute to the longevity of the tradition of Murano craftsmanship and greater development of the Italian glass sector in general.
