MuranoGlassItaly is committed to ensuring the 100% satisfaction of clients! That’s why we insure all our shipments free of charge. In case your artwork arrives broken, please follow our Step-by-Step guide on \u201cWhat if the artwork arrives broken?\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n

The MuranoGlassItaly Insurance policy in NOT applicable to damages caused by customers.<\/p>\n

What is the difference between \u201cfull coverage insurance\u201d and \u201cstandard shipping insurance\u201d?<\/strong><\/h4>\n

Full coverage insurance offers a more comprehensive level of protection. In addition to reimbursing the value of lost or damaged merchandise, it includes the advantage of immediate replacement of the goods. This means that if your shipment arrives damaged, you can receive a replacement promptly without waiting for the lengthy insurance investigation typical of standard shipping insurance. Additionally, this type of insurance will include extra protective, filling material and a larger multilayer carton box.
\nTherefore, the distinction between the two lies in the handling of claims and extra filling material and dimensions of the shipping box. Standard shipping insurance requires a waiting period for the carrier’s investigation and reimbursement process. In contrast, full coverage insurance streamlines this process by offering immediate replacement, ensuring minimal disruption in case of damage.<\/p>\n

What if the artwork arrives broken?<\/strong><\/h4>\n
Step-by-Step Guide<\/strong><\/h5>\n

Step 1: Take pictures<\/strong><\/p>\n

Once you realize that the artwork is broken, you must take the following pictures:<\/p>\n

  1. Picture of the broken artwork<\/li>\n
  2. Picture of the packaging material<\/li>\n
  3. Picture of the inside of the box<\/li>\n
  4. Picture of the outside of the box<\/li>\n
  5. In case you see a visible damage on the box, take a picture of it<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Preserve the broken artwork, the packaging material and the box<\/p>\n

    Step 2: Contact us within 24 hours from receipt to signal that the artwork arrived broken by sending an email to <\/strong>customer@muranoglassitaly.com<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n

    From the time, you receive your artwork from our couriers, you have 24 hours to inform us about the damage by sending an email to customer@muranoglassitaly.com<\/a><\/p>\n

    As an attachment to the email include all pictures described at Step 1<\/strong><\/p>\n

    Step 3: Wait for our confirmation email and further instructions<\/strong><\/p>\n

    We will confirm the receipt of your damage claim and provide further instruction to you<\/p>\n

    Step 4: Allow the insurance agent to examine the broken artwork and the original packaging materials<\/strong><\/p>\n

    An insurance agent will visit you to examine the broken artwork and packaging material. Therefore, it is important (as described at Step 1) that you preserve the broken artwork, original packaging materials and box.<\/p>\n

    In case you do not allow the insurance agent to examine the artwork and packaging materials or you dispose the either the artwork or the packaging materials or the box before the insurance agents examines them you will NOT be eligible for a refund.<\/p>\n

    Step 5: Follow the instructions of the insurance agent<\/strong><\/p>\n

    During his visit, the insurance agent will provide you further instruction. The insurance agent will determine if you are eligible for refund or not.<\/p>\n

    In case you are eligible for refund, the insurance company will handle your claim, please follow the instructions of the insurance agent.<\/p>\n

    In case the insurance agent determines that you are not eligible for the refund, please ask him for further instructions.<\/p>\n

    Please note, that MuranoGlassItaly works with a 3rd<\/sup> party insurance company and cannot interfere neither the work nor the judgement of the insurance company. The insurance company has the sole discretion to determine if the insurance claim is rightful or not.<\/p>\n
